Sarah Jessica Parker Is Chic in Green Gown at Kensington Palace Party with Matthew Broderick

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are a seriously stylish couple!

The pair attended the ATG summer party at Kensington Palace gardens in London, Wednesday, and Parker, 58, opted for a floor-length emerald green Elie Saab gown that featured a thigh-high split and cape-style sleeves.

She teamed her dress with a sparkling bag and a pair of green heels from her own SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker collection. Broderick, meanwhile, contrasted his wife perfectly in a smart gray plaid suit, blue shirt, and tie.

The evening was held in honor of the couple — who share son James Wilkie, 20, and twin daughters Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, 13 — by the Ambassador Theatre Group and their CEO Mark Cornell. 

"It was a total thrill to attend this eve's Summer Party at Kensington Palace Gardens thrown by our dear friends at the Ambassador Theatre Group," the actress wrote in an Instagram caption on Wednesday that accompanied a photograph of her in her look for the night.

"Matthew and I were truly touched to be honored, and delighted to play a part in raising money to support Sir Sam Mendes' Theatre Artists Fund. Thank you for having us," Parker added.

"We look forward to officially returning to London in just a few short months," she continued, before sharing details of her and Broderick's upcoming West End show, Plaza Suite, and how to pre-order tickets.

"See you there?" she wrote, signing off with her signature "X, SJ​."

Parker will be making her West End theater debut in the new show, which will begin its run at the Savoy Theatre in January 2024, while her costar in the show, Broderick, previously appeared in the famed London theater district in a performance of The Starry Messenger in 2019.

As well as buzz around their upcoming London show, Broderick has recently been making waves with his Netflix drama Painkiller, while Parker’s Sex and The City reboot And Just Like That is set to be renewed for a third season.

Last month, executive producer Michael Patrick King shared his delight at the show returning to share more from the world of the show’s main characters: Carrie (Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and those that star alongside them in the series.

“We are thrilled to spend more time in the Sex and the City universe telling new stories about the lives of these relatable and aspirational characters played by these amazing actors,” he said. “And Just Like That… Here comes season three.”

The season 2 finale of the show featured a cameo from Kim Cattrall as her beloved Sex and the City character Samantha Jones, and the show ranked as the most-watched and No. 1 original overall for streaming platform Max.
