Celebrating nearly a century in the beauty business warrants a party — make that an iconic party.

On Friday, March 21, Clarins — the French luxury cosmetics brand that's been around since 1954 — commemorated its history with a stylish bash at Los Angeles' Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, where the golden Oscars statues standing guard at its entrance set the tone for the star-studded night ahead.

The evening kicked off with guests stepping into the Dolby Family Terrace glass dome, lit up in Clarins red for the special occasion, making everyone feel like superstars with a bevy of photographers snapping their glamour shots.

Action continued on the red carpet where PEOPLE caught up with celebrities about their skincare secrets (which was only fitting for an event celebrating Clarins' iconic products like the Double Serum and Lip Oil).

Justin Long and Kate Bosworth, who wed in May 2023, looked as loved-up as ever as they gushed about each other's best qualities — and skincare habits. "She's the beauty, so I get all my tips from her," Long tells PEOPLE when asked about the tips he's learned from Bosworth, even adding that spending time with the actress "takes the stress away from life." Bosworth reveals that she's been obsessed with red light therapy and has gotten her husband into the trend.

Model Alessandra Ambrosio opens up about how her daughter, Anja, 16, plays a small but sentimental part in her current rituals. "We love to spend time together doing masks and our skincare routines. Also, she is really good at doing makeup, so sometimes I'll go to her and I'm like, 'Anja, can you please help me with something for my face or my hair?' It's a nice [bonding moment] between a mom and a daughter."

Actress Bailee Madison's love for beauty is also generational. "I literally grew up watching my mom and sister using Clarins," she says.

Amongst the crowd, TikTok darlings Nara and Lucky Blue Smith, who stepped out in coordinating date-night looks, greeted fans throughout the night, Ginny & Georgia star Brianne Howey danced with her friends while Brooks Nader and Sophia Culpo caught up with each other near the bar, which was flowing with drinks and decorated with a tower of products.

Gwen Stefani got the party going with a rocking performance set against the iconic Hollywood Hills. Dressed in tartan and with a dip-dyed platinum blonde ponytail, the Grammy winner revisited hits like "Hollaback Girl" and No Doubt's "Just a Girl."

Adding to the megawatt ambiance were giant displays of Clarins' celebrated products, models clad in sexy red suits and an exhilarating soundtrack DJ'ed by Tay James.
