On Monday, Sept. 20, the "OMG" singer, 45, shared a series of adorable snaps and videos to Instagram, as he celebrated his and his wife Jenn Goicoechea's son Sire on his third birthday. At his Cars-themed party, the father-son duo can be playing with a Lightning McQueen toy car while enjoying chocolate cake and cracking up. "Celebrating Sire!! Happy birthday to U!," the proud dad of four captioned the post. The Grammy-winning artist was recently interviewed for The Cut's first-ever solo print issue, where he opened up about his relationship with his four kids. Instead, he tries to lean into those emotional moments, connecting with his kids through music. "I try to coddle my kids to protect them from emotions and life and love and sex – you can't!" Usher told the outlet. "They want to experience things too. Why make them feel as though they need to hide it?"
