Bruce Willis Shares Sweet Moment with Granddaughter Louetta in Adorable Photo from Demi Moore on the Actor's 70th Birthday

Bruce Willis loves being a grandpa!

The Armageddon actor celebrated his 70th birthday on Wednesday, March 19, surrounded by his daughters, ex-wife Demi Moore, wife Emma Heming Willis and his 23-month-old granddaughter Louetta, whom his daughter Rumer and her ex-boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas, welcomed in April 2023.

In a gallery of photos Moore shared on Instagram, the proud grandpa can be seen giving Louetta a kiss as Moore and Rumer stood beside them and sweetly looked on. In another snap, Willis held Louetta in his arms, as they both looked in the same direction.

The Pulp Fiction alum was married to Moore when he became a dad for the first time in 1988. That year, the couple welcomed their eldest daughter Rumer, 36, and it wasn't long before Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31, joined the family too.

Willis and Moore called it quits in 1998, and he went on to marry Heming in 2009. The couple welcomed two more girls – Mabel Ray Willis, 12, and Evelyn Penn Willis, 10. Although being a dad to five daughters means the Die Hard star has never gotten the chance to raise a little boy, he enjoys being a girl dad and would gladly welcome more girls to his family.

"Bruce's response when asked if he'd like to have a son?… 'I'd have 5 more girls right now,' " Heming shared on Instagram in June 2021.

On April 18, 2023, Willis' family grew by another little girl, as Rumer welcomed her baby girl through a home birth. The Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood actress announced the exciting news with a post on Instagram. In the adorable snap, the proud mom showed off her little one with her eyes closed, calling her "pure magic" in the caption.

Rumer spoke with PEOPLE exclusively at the Jhpiego Laughter Is the Best Medicine Gala in May 2024, giving an update on her dad’s health and his relationship with his granddaughter.

“He’s doing really good,” Rumer told PEOPLE regarding Bruce’s diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. “I got to go over there with Louetta today.”

Rumer added that Louetta “loves” going to see Grandpa Bruce.

“It’s so sweet,” she continued. “Louetta honestly is like the most-famous person in our family. Within my family, people will call and ask to have playdates just with her. They’re like, ‘We don’t really want to see you, we’re just coming over to see Louetta.’ I’m like, 'OK.’ ”
