Meghan Markle is getting ready to share her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.

The Duchess of Sussex and As ever founder teamed up with Lemonada Media for her latest foray into podcasting, and PEOPLE is exclusively sharing the trailer.

"I'm Meghan, and this is Confessions of a Female Founder, a show where I chat with female entrepreneurs and friends about the sleepless nights, the lessons learned and the laser focus that got them to where they are today," she says in the preview released on March 25.

"We're diving into the highs — and the lows – and the kind of advice that turns small ideas into billion-dollar businesses," Meghan continues. "And of course, we're going to get some girl talk!"

The snippet was interspersed with audio from the show, where respective guests spoke about their own successes and struggles.

"It just started climbing and climbing, and there was 5,000, 10,000 people on our website," one shares, while another remembers feeling, "I'm broke, and no one is calling me." Another looks back at the turning point of, "I knew in that moment that I'd rather stand for something than sell a whole ton of product and stand for nothing."

The Duchess of Sussex hinted that business isn't the only topic on the table, however, and asked one guest about their relationship status.

"Are you saying you're not single now? Have I missed something in the past couple weeks? What's happening?" Meghan asks, which made them both laugh.

"And through it all, I'm building a business of my own, and getting all sorts of practical advice along the way that I'm very excited to share with you. So join me for Confessions of a Female Founder from Lemonada Media, which by the way, is also female-founded. Launching April 8, wherever you get your podcasts," she says in the preview. "Let's do this, ladies."

At the end of the trailer, Meghan says, "This is not Shark Tank, think of this as 'dolphin tank.' These are very friendly waters, it's all going to be good," referring to ABC's hit business pitch show in the same playful way that she has in the past.

On March 13, the Duchess of Sussex and Lemonada Media announced that she would host a new show titled Confessions of a Female Founder, debuting on Tuesday, April 8 with an eight-episode season. The show will focus on her entrepreneurial journey launching the As ever lifestyle brand and tackle candid conversations with fellow female founders, including some of her famous friends.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Meghan shares how other female founders have inspired her on her entrepreneurial journey.

"What’s been meaningful is being able to talk about my own entrepreneurial journey with other female founders who are either on their own trajectory of growth or have IPO’d, sold, or created high impact brands and gone through all of the learning curves that we all do at the start," the Duchess of Sussex says.

"You’re just trying to figure out how to walk, then you want to learn how to run, and then you want to learn how to fly. All of those things take time. There’s also something very exciting and energizing about learning something new as we get older," she adds. "The entrepreneurial journey, for anyone, is a lot, and I’m also really, really lucky that so many of my close friends are female founders that I can glean advice from."

Meghan originally launched a lifestyle venture called American Riviera Orchard in 2024, but shared in February that she was refreshing the name to As ever in order to offer a wider range of products.

"There are tons of twists and turns — even with the name," she says of the trademark issues she navigated. "I was figuring it out in real time."

"I appreciate everyone who was supporting and gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out — and also to be forgiving with myself through that. It’s a learning curve," she says.

Confessions of a Female Founder will be Meghan's second foray into podcasting, as she previously hosted the podcast Archetypes on Spotify in 2022. A longtime champion of women's rights and gender equity, Meghan took the mic to debunk the stereotypes that hold women back.

The show topped Spotify's international charts upon its premiere, and went on to win the People’s Choice Award for pop podcast.
