Meghan Markle Shares a Look Inside Podcast Studio After New Show's Trailer Debut: 'Let's Go!'

Meghan Markle is giving a peek into the production of her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.

On March 25, the Duchess of Sussex gave a glimpse into the making of her new podcast on the day its trailer debuted. A short video shared to the Instagram Stories of Meghan's Instagram page followed her walking into a room to the tune of upbeat music, then cut to her sitting on a couch.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, wore headphones and spoke into a microphone before a laptop on a stand.

"Confessions of a Female Founder trailer is out today," she wrote over the montage on her Instagram Stories.

"Q: Hard work or hardly working? A: The former my friend, the former. Let's go!" she said, adding a "listen here" link.

It was announced on March 13 that Meghan would host a new show for Lemonada Media called Confessions of a Female Founder, which is set to debut on Tuesday, April 8. The eight-episode show will focus on the Duchess of Sussex's own experience launching the As ever lifestyle brand and feature candid conversations with fellow female founders about their successes and struggles in making it in business.

Speaking to PEOPLE in her most intimate interview in years, Meghan shares how other female founders have been a support and strength for her. 

"What’s been meaningful is being able to talk about my own entrepreneurial journey with other female founders who are either on their own trajectory of growth or have IPO’d, sold, or created high-impact brands and gone through all of the learning curves that we all do at the start," the Duchess of Sussex says.

"You’re just trying to figure out how to walk, then you want to learn how to run, and then you want to learn how to fly. All of those things take time. There’s also something very exciting and energizing about learning something new as we get older," she explains. "The entrepreneurial journey, for anyone, is a lot, and I’m also really, really lucky that so many of my close friends are female founders that I can glean advice from."

PEOPLE exclusively shared the trailer for Confessions of a Female Founder, where Meghan hopped on the mic to preview the fun to come.

"I'm Meghan, and this is Confessions of a Female Founder, a show where I chat with female entrepreneurs and friends about the sleepless nights, the lessons learned and the laser focus that got them to where they are today," she says in the teaser released on March 25.

"We're diving into the highs — and the lows – and the kind of advice that turns small ideas into billion-dollar businesses," she continues. "And of course, we're going to get some girl talk!"

A new statement from Lemonada said, "Building something great isn’t easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. With it, the podcast platform shared previously released art of Meghan gazing into the camera.

The Duchess of Sussex made her podcasting debut with Archetypes on Spotify, which released one season in 2022. The show focused on breaking down the labels that hold women back and won the People's Choice Award for pop podcast.
