Campbell 'Pookie' Puckett Tears Up as She Tells Daughter Emotional Story of How She Found Out She Was Pregnant

Campbell "Pookie" Puckett celebrated the one-year anniversary of finding out she was pregnant in a sweet video with her daughter.

In a video shared to Instagram Reels on March 17, the 33-year-old mom held her daughter Paloma — born in November 2024 — as she opened up about finding out she was pregnant "one year ago."

"I just knew this time was different," she reflected while rocking Paloma as she slept. "I could just tell I was pregnant." Puckett then recalled taking the test with Jett Puckett, noting she knew "it was going to be positive" as she emotionally recalled the moment "the most peace and joy I've ever felt at once."

"Your dad and I were married for almost six years before we found out we were pregnant," Campbell continued. "And it was just the perfect timing. It was God's perfect plan." She then told her "angel" that she is "everything we ever needed."

"I always wanted to be a mom, but I didn't know if I'd be any good at it," Campbell said as she teared up. "I was so nervous. It really is the hardest job in the world, but it's the greatest job." She then concluded the video by saying, "I hope I can be the best mom; you are so loved, sweetie," before she kissed her daughter on the head.

The sweet moment comes after the Pucketts celebrated the content creator's 33rd birthday together — her first birthday since Paloma's birth. In another video posted to Instagram on March 12, she gave fans a peek into her intimate birthday celebrations with their family as Jett surprised her with a private chef experience.

In the caption, Campbell revealed, "My birthday wish last year was to become a mom and here we are🙏🏻🎂 ," calling the moment "so surreal."  

The couple first announced that they were expecting their first baby together exclusively with PEOPLE back in June 2024. At the time, Campbell said that they had "always dreamed of becoming parents."

"Jett and I have been together for nine years, married for six, and I'm most excited to see him become a dad," she continued. "I've thought about that since I met him."

"Our life has been building up to this moment, and we could not be more excited and blessed to bring another life into the world," the couple added. "We're ready for this next phase in our life and this new purpose as parents."
