The former talk show host, 60, was seen in New York City on Monday, March 17 as she arrived at the Pendry Hotel in Hudson Yards on a scooter. Williams was dressed in a fur coat and boots as she went into the hotel and later left. The outing marks the latest sighting of her since she was taken from her assisted living facility to the hospital by ambulance on Monday, March 10. The New York Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE at the time that authorities responded to a welfare check on Williams at the facility and she was then escorted into an ambulance and taken to a local hospital "for evaluation." Santi Ramales/BACKGRID Williams' caretaker Ginalia Monterrosa was with her at the hospital on March 11 and told the outlet that the tests had "deemed she is not incapacitated," which Williams' guardian claimed in a November filing. During the interview, Williams said the "most important thing" to her was "getting out of guardianship." She then appeared on The View afterward and continued refuting claims about her "incapacitation," which she again said she does "not" have. Johnny Nunez/WireImage Monterroso joined her for that interview, too, and told the hosts that "unusual activity" in Williams' Wells Fargo account was the reason behind the guardianship to begin with, as the bank "initiated a guardianship" due to the activity. "I didn't mind it at that time at all because it's about my money and keeping my money safe," Williams said. "But at this point in my life, I want to terminate [the] guardianship and move on with my life, if that's possible at all."
