Vittoria Ceretti Makes Rare Comments About Boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio After Nearly 2 Years of Dating

Vittoria Ceretti has spoken out about her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio for the first time since the two became romantically linked in August 2023.

In a new cover story for Vogue France's April 2025 issue, which has been translated from French, the Italian model, 26, provided a rare glimpse into her dating life with the Oscar winner, 50, who is not mentioned by name, but is referenced to as a "very, very famous actor" by the outlet.

After revealing where they met ("In Milan. But I prefer not to go into details," Ceretti said) and whether she's seen her boyfriend's most famous movie ("It's an iconic film..." she added of Titanic), Ceretti shared her stance on the potential risk of being recognized for her relationship with DiCaprio instead of her own career.

"As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become 'girlfriend of'—or 'boyfriend of,' for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying. Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex. So it's not nice to think that you can't love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you," she said.

She added that dating "one of the most desired people in the world" (as described by Vogue France) is something you get adjusted to. "It's something you learn. If what you're experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there's no reason to be alarmed. Because love protects and gives confidence."

DiCaprio and Ceretti have kept their coupling on the down-low since it began nearly two years ago. However, over the course of their romance, they've been spotted on various dates and were most recently seen vacationing in St. Barts in December 2024.

Traveling together has proven to be a favorite pastime for the pair, and in August that year they were photographed spending their free time yachting off the coast of Sardinia. They were first linked when seen on an iced coffee and ice cream run in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Ceretti has also kept DiCaprio close to her even when they're not together. This past October, she was seen backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show using a phone that appeared to have a throwback image of him on it.

Last April, after Ceretti and DiCaprio enjoyed a dinner with friends at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif., a source told PEOPLE that he "seems to really like her."

Prior to DiCaprio's sightings with Ceretti, the actor was linked to model Gigi Hadid between September 2022 and February 2023.
