Connie Britton is offering a rare insight into her love life.
The actress, 58, has been dating producer David Windsor for nearly six years and in a new interview with Parade, she opened up about how she knew he was the one.
"What I was really looking for was a partnership where there's constant growth, on both sides, and a sort of deepening of each other," Britton said.
For her, it was about more than just a feeling that she had "found true love" — she wanted a true life partner.
With Windsor, she said, "I found somebody who I can walk on a journey with that is going to be constantly ever-changing."

Britton has not offered much of a look into her and Windsor's relationship over the five years they've been together, though she did rave about Windsor during a 2023 interview on SiriusXM's Radio Andy.
Calling him an "amazing man," she opened up about how they were "set up" at a friend's 50th birthday party.
"I walked into his party and I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I don't know a single soul at this party.' But I was like, 'It's OK, I just wanna celebrate him. It's his 50th birthday.' And so I'm talking to my friend and he looks past me and he sees David across the room and he is like, 'There's someone here you have to meet.' And it was like, I'll never forget that moment because I turned around and I looked at who he was pointing at and I was like, 'Oh yeah, I wanna meet him.'"

Though they didn't really end up meeting properly that night, she told her friend to have Windsor "email" her to introduce himself because he "knew everybody at the party and I didn't know anybody. I wasn't gonna walk up like a total dork box."
The writer and producer was "very bold," she said, and sent her an email the next day.
