Ugly Betty fans, rejoice!
Series alum Michael Urie, Becki Newton, Ana Ortiz and Mark Indelicato reunited on Thursday, March 27 at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif., where the former cast mates both presented onstage at the Beverly Hilton and posed for a few behind-the-scenes snaps.
Urie, who hosted the annual ceremony recognizing creators who have released art that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community, told PEOPLE at the event that he first spotted his friends during a dinner break and "almost burst into tears seeing them all again."
In addition to to starring on Shrinking, the actor, 44, also hosts the rewatch podcast Still Ugly with Newton, 46.
"We do keep in touch," says Urie, who played Marc St. James during the series' run from 2006 to 2010. "I see Becki all the time. I see Mark all the time and I've seen Ana a lot. But to [have] all of us together, all four of us together, and we're all four going through the show again because we're doing these podcasts. So we're rewatching the show and to share that experience with each other and talk about, mark was 11 when we started and I was 25. He's older now than I was then. It's so wild."
"So it's a really special, very privileged to be able to have a record of that time in our lives and to share it with them, to still be with them," he adds. "It's very nice."

During this year's GLAAD Media Awards, the Ugly Betty alumni smiled together and posed for a handful of photos backstage. There, Urie wore a baby-blue suit, Indelicato donned a brown suit, Newton opted for a fluffy pink number and Newton rocked a collage-style dress featuring various magazine covers.
The actors, alongside series lead America Ferrera, last appeared on screen together during the series finale in 2010 — after concluding four seasons on ABC. For her performance in Ugly Betty as Betty Suarez, Ferrera won an Emmy and SAG Award in 2007 and a Golden Globe in 2006. The show itself earned a Golden Globe in 2007 for best television series - comedy or musical.
In the years since, there's been a few mini Ugly Betty reunions, including in November 2022 when Vanessa Williams and Urie joined Ferrera, now 40, for a few Instagram selfies. Before that, Ferrera joined Ortiz, 54, to support Williams, 62, at the Sondheim on Sondheim benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl in 2017.

In the years since, Ferrera caught up with Entertainment Tonight at Elle's Women in Hollywood event, where she revealed that there has been "a deep desire there for a long time" to reunite with her costars.
"Because our Ugly Betty family is so close, and so we love each other so much," Ferrera told the outlet. "I think we'd all come back in a heartbeat. You know, I don't know! It takes a lot of work to get a thing off the ground. Maybe we'll figure it out."
"Betty is my heart," she added of her character. "I would be thrilled [to play her again]."
As for Urie and Newton's new rewatch podcast, Still Ugly features behind-the-scenes stories with special guests from the show's original cast. Back in February, Urie told PEOPLE that "Becki and I have never stopped being really, really close."
"From the minute we finished the show until now, we have remained in very close contact. We see each other all the time," Urie said. "We text literally every day.”
“This is an idea that has been in the back of our minds for a long time,” he added. “We’d thought about it and every time I’d see another show doing it, I get really jealous.”
