'Mad Men' Star Gets Viewers' Libidos Pumping Too

Christina Hendricks’s Mad Men character makes her co-workers swoon. It turns out viewers get pretty hot and bothered too.

Hendricks, who plays sexy redheaded secretary Joan Holloway on the Emmy-nominated AMC series, tells September’s Esquire (on sale Aug. 11) that she loves how her character makes libidos rise.

“I’ve had people say to me, ‘My husband and I watch it and we always have sex afterwards,'” says the actress, 34, who is marrying actor Geoffrey Arend on Oct. 11. “I think it’s really hot that the show stirs up naughty things.”
