She famously confused tuna and chicken while indulging in a bowl of Chicken of the Sea. And now, 13 years after her infamous inquiry, Jessica Simpson is feeling a bit nostalgic.

The 36-year-old singer took to Instagram on Monday, sharing a throwback meme to her highly mocked question.

“Is this chicken that I have, or is this fish?” Simpson asked then-husband Nick Lachey during the 2003 premiere episode of their reality show, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.

“I know it’s tuna, but it says chicken by the sea,” she continued. “Is that stupid? What is it called — chicken by the sea or in the sea?”

Lachey looked at his then-bride with confusion. “Chicken of the Sea is the brand,” he said. “You know, ’cause a lot of people eat tuna, just like a lot of people eat chicken. Chicken of the Sea.”

“Oh….” Simpson replied. “Oh, I understand now. I read it wrong.”

The couple split soon after the show ended in 2005 — officially divorcing in 2006. But while their love didn’t last, Simpson’s blonde moment lived on forever — as evidenced in the hilarious meme Simpson shared.

“Maybe Jessica Simpson was on to something?” she wrote, captioning a shot of a chicken floating in the sea.

Simpson hashtagged the shot #ChickenOfTheSea.

Fans hoping to see Simpson return to reality TV soon for another “Chicken of the Sea” moment will be disappointed. While she’s happily married to NFL player Eric Johnson and has two children — Maxwell Drew, 4, and Ace Knute, 3 — Simpson said she has no plans to expose her family to the reality TV cameras.

As she told Savannah Guthrie in Sept. 2015 on Today, “That’s very rear view [mirror].”

“Having a camera on me at all times, I mean we all know I stick my foot in my mouth a little bit too much,” she added.
