Game of Thrones season 7 premieres this weekend, and the usually tight-lipped stars can barely contain their excitement. All along the red carpet for the show’s Los Angeles premiere, cast members of HBO’s flagship summer drama dropped hints about the show’s long-awaited resolution — here’s the very best of them.

The beginning of the end is upon us.
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is finally on her way to Westeros, army and dragons in tow. The living embodiment of winter, the White Walkers, marches toward the Wall. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) have taken back control of Winterfell. And, finally, it’s revenge season — stabbings and throat-cuttings will abound as Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) returns to the continent to give out some much-needed payback. Plus, like, a thousand more storylines that will start to wrap up and start anew.

The actor behind the unscrupulous Little Finger, Aidan Gillen, had plenty to say about season 7’s starting point and eager fans will not be disappointed. “It’s almost like a direction continuation of where we left off,” Gillen teased to reporters.

“It’s, like, 30 seconds later or something like that,” the actor added.

All the full-circle moments and callbacks we’ve been waiting for — and some we can’t see coming.
Game of Thrones is known for its beautifully arced storylines and character changes and the cast hinted that that’s not gonna change in the show’s newest season.

The actor behind Jamie Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, hints that audiences could expect some amazing resolutions, “Well I’ve seen it this season, something that’s coming up, something that happened early on that comes back,” adding that there would be something “beautiful.”

“That’s a trick that you can do in longform storytelling of introducing people or themes or plot lines that were left behind six years ago. [It] can be very effective and will happen,” Gillen said, adding with a smirk, “I believe.”

Will the Starks finally reunite?
Last season, we had this beautiful moment: Jon and Sansa embracing after both of them (especially, Sansa) went through Hell and back. But what of the now-mystical Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright)? What of Arya, the hellbent avenger? Can she ever live normally with her siblings again?

In one sneak peek, you can hear Little Finger telling Sansa about the scope of her journey to come: “Don’t fight in the North or the South. Fight every battle, everywhere, always.”

Let’s just hope she’s not fighting alone.
