Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively: “Could these two be any better looking?” This was the subject of a group email sent around to PeopleStyleWatch.com editors along with this photo of Lively and Reynolds, which naturally led to lots of chatting about how great it is to see these two on the red carpet together (it rarely happens!). Lively channeled an Old Hollywood movie star in a Gucci Première blush gown embroidered with rose gold paillettes and featuring a long train.
“This was a little bit of a departure from Charles James, because he has a lot of petticoats, a lot of graphic, geometric structures,” she told PEOPLE. “This is more of the Charles James times, ’40s and ’50s. I was a little scared to go too Charles James, because he has such iconic shapes and designs that to me if too many people are drawing from the same inspiration everyone’s going to be in the same dress.”
As for that gorgeous train, the actress shared her doubts: “I love a train but then when I get on these stairs, I’m like, Why am I wearing a train?” she said, laughing. Her husband looked similarly sharp in Gucci, looking dapper as ever in a custom midnight blue velvet tuxedo and classic bow tie.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 tour might be winding down, but luckily we got another bonus round of Stone and Garfield on the red carpet. Stone was an instant pick for our Best Dressed list in her pink crop top and raspberry floor-skimming skirt (both Thakoon). But Garfield was definitely her best accessory, selecting a metallic jacket, black tuxedo pants (both Band of Outsiders) and a classic bow tie.

David and Victoria Beckham: When these two hit the carpet, it’s impossible not to drop everything you’re doing to just stare. Victoria selected a white strapless design from her own label and David matched her accordingly in a Ralph Lauren white tuxedo jacket. And while we know the Met Gala isn’t a family affair, and Mom and Dad do deserve their date night, but we’d love to see the whole Beckham brood all dressed up. (Just imagine baby Harper in a ball gown!)

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen: True Story: They are so good looking, one of our reporters said she almost fainted in when they walked by. Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson: You know how we feel about these two. (We dedicated a whole post to them!) Kruger did her high-fashion thing in an ice-blue Hugo Boss design, and Jackson hopped on the white tuxedo bandwagon, looking as handsome as ever.

Jay Z and Beyoncé: Don’t make us say it. Okay, fine we’ll say it. We saved the best for last. First let’s tackle Beyoncé. The singer stunned in a sheer mesh heavily-embellished Givenchy Couture gown and matching head-piece, plus a lot of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. And Jay kept it sleek in a white Tom Ford (naturally) jacket and black tuxedo pants.
