Victory really is sweet at the Super Bowl.
For many years in recent memory, the game has often ended with players from the winning team dousing their coach in Gatorade. According to Sports Illustrated, the tradition began in the mid-1980s — but the exact year depends on who you ask.
And like all things Super Bowl related, predicting which color comes out of the cooler when the messy moment happens is something worth betting on. To help better your odds at the next big game, look back on two decades' worth of Gatorade pours — and see which color has seemingly been most popular in recent history.
