President Donald Trump is making plans to host the Kansas City Chiefs five years after they won the Super Bowl.

On Saturday, March 22, he was joined aboard Air Force One by the founder of the sports website Outkick, Clay Travis. When discussing plans for the Philadelphia Eagles to visit the White House on April 28 following this year’s Super Bowl victory, Trump shared that they aren’t the only team he’s planning to host.

“I look forward to having the Eagles,” Trump said. “And one other thing, we’re going to have the Kansas City Chiefs after that, because they missed their turn because of COVID.”

Trump didn’t share the date that the team is expected to visit the White House.

Having been told that Randi Mahomes, the mom of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany are “big fans,” Trump added, “I love those two women, they’re so great and so loyal.”

He then recalled having previously met them.

PEOPLE has reached out to the Kansas City Chiefs to confirm if the team has officially received an invitation from the White House.

Trump had predicted the Chiefs would win this year’s Super Bowl while speaking to Fox News prior to the game on Feb. 9, but also praised the Eagles’ Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles went on to beat the Chiefs 40-22, and speculation arose soon after that the team wouldn’t make the customary visit to the White House, after they declined a trip following their Super Bowl win in 2018.

“Well, actually, [the Eagles] did want to come," Trump claimed to Travis of their 2018 choice not to go. "A lot of people wanted to come, including the coach [Doug Pederson] — terrific guy, by the way — but the coach wanted to come."

He continued, "The general manager [Howie Roseman] wanted to come. The owner [Jeffrey Lurie] wanted to come. A lot of people wanted to come. Some of the players wanted to come. And I just said, 'Just forget it,' right?”

"I also had a problem with the San Francisco basketball team,” he added, referring to the Golden State Warriors opting not to visit the White House following their 2016-17 NBA championship win.

Trump told Travis, “They said, ‘Well, we’ll think about it.’ I said, ‘You don’t have to think, you’re uninvited.’ ”
