Sabrina Carpenter is the ultimate showgirl!

On Sunday, Feb. 16, the “Espresso” singer, 25, dazzled the star-studded crowd at SNL's 50th Anniversary Afterparty at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, with her rendition of classic songs from different genres. She swapped the glittery gown that she had worn earlier that evening for a white mini-dress with a fur shrug wrapped around her shoulders before taking to the stage.

A video shared on TikTok showed Dave Chappelle sitting alongside her enjoying a smoke as she belted the lyrics to “Miss You” by The Rolling Stones supported by a live band.

Carpenter appeared in good spirits as she smiled and danced on stage to the disco song before taking a moment to speak to Chappelle.

Clips shared on X by fans reveal that it wasn’t the only upbeat performance Carpenter put on during the night as she also led the crowd in singing Madonna’s “Like a Virgin.”

When slowing the music to perform "At Last" by jazz and blues singer Etta James, the “Nonsense” vocalist was joined on stage by a group including actresses Jenna Ortega, Emma Stone and Kristen Wiig

“We’re gonna do the last part first. I need my beautiful, incredible women on stage right now,” Carpenter said before showing the group the moves she wanted them to perform for the song.

She dropped to her knees as she poured her emotions into the performance, before standing back up as she sang the lyrics “Life is like a song” with the people on stage behind her swaying side to side.

The performance at the afterparty came after Carpenter teamed up with Paul Simon, 83, to kick off the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special with an acoustic version of the Simon & Garfunkel song “Homeward Bound.”

While Simon has appeared on SNL multiple times since the 1970s, Carpenter only made her debut on the show in May 2024.

During their performance on Sunday evening, she joked that she and her parents hadn’t been born when Simon joined George Harrison to perform “Homeward Bound” in 1976.

"Well, I'm glad they'll get the chance to hear it tonight," Simon said.

"Me too!" Carpenter replied, before sharing their version of the 1966 song.
