Robert Pattinson isn't used to having so many male fans.

When the actor, 38, attended the world premiere of his new movie Mickey 17 on Feb. 13 in London, he told Associated Press reporter Sian Watson he was surprised to see so many men showing up for him at the event, in a video Watson shared on Instagram.

"It's quite strange — there's, like, a bunch of guys, which is a new one for me," Pattinson joked.

The star rose to fame as a co-lead Edward Cullen opposite Kristen Stewart in the Twilight saga, the popular vampire-romance franchise known for its passionate, mostly female audience.

In the years since Twilight wrapped with 2012's Breaking Dawn - Part 2, Pattinson reinvented his career with roles in movies like Good Time, The Lighthouse, Tenet and, more recently, The Batman.

Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman, in a The Batman sequel, currently scheduled for release in 2027, and he'll star in The Odyssey, which will reunite him with Tenet director Christopher Nolan.

Pattinson and his fiancée Suki Waterhouse, who got engaged in December 2023, welcomed their first baby together in March 2024. Waterhouse, 33, revealed during her performance at Coachella in April 2024 that the pair welcomed a daughter, and the couple have not yet shared their baby's name publicly.

At the Mickey 17 premiere in London, AP's Watson also asked Pattinson whether he is interested in filming movies that his daughter can watch in the future, to which he answered, "I'd love to, yeah. The only thing she really seems to be interested in now is looking at the wall. For sure, I'd love to voice a cartoon."
