"I f---ing hate Christmas. It gets right up my arsehole," Osbourne, 76, said, as per The Sun. "When I used to do booze and get f---d up, I bought a barrel with 28 gallons of booze for me. I drunk it before it was Christmas f---ing Eve." The Black Sabbath rocker has been open about his past drug and alcohol use. On his podcast The Osbournes Podcast that he shares with wife Sharon, he admitted during a September episode that he wasn't "completely sober" but refuses to microdose anything else. "I use a bit of marijuana from time to time," Ozzy said, adding that Sharon, 72, makes sure he doesn't use anything more intense than marijuana. "My wife kicks my butt all the time," he added. "She would f---ing make my life so difficult." "The message is, if you are out there and you are using dope and you want to get off, there is plenty of help," Ozzy said, adding that Alcoholics Anonymous got him "sorted out to a certain degree." "I’ve always been self-medicating because I’ve never liked the way I felt," he told Variety in 2021. "I’ve had great success in my life, but I’ve never felt great about myself. And so, from a very early age, I used to sniff fumes, all kinds of things, anything to get me out of my head." Elsewhere in the interview, he added: "I should have been dead 1,000 times."
