The show will also debut in Boston, the outlet reported. No casting has been announced for shows in either location.

Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is writing the book for the musical, while Next to Normal composers Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey are composing the music. Choir Boy’s Trip Cullman will direct.

Magic Mike was released in 2012 and centered around Tatum’s Mike who makes ends meet as a handyman and stripper at an all-male revue.

The film grossed about $167 million at the world box office. The sequel, Magic Mike XXL, was released in 2015.

Tatum was at Magic Mike Live‘s opening night in London in November and was joined by girlfriend Jessie J.

After the show, Jessie, 30, posted a short video of the show on her Instagram story where she gave a shoutout to the actor.

“Magic Mike London Opening night,” Jessie J wrote. “Congratulations @channingtatum What a show …. Ladies and Gentlemen you don’t want to miss this.”
