It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for – the first official trailer for Bridget Jones’s Baby is finally here!

Nearly 12 years after we last saw the beloved Brit try to navigate her love life, Renée Zellweger is back as Bridget Jones in this sneak peek from the highly anticipated third installment in the singleton’s saga.

In the trailer, we find our heroine, now 43, still single – but this time, loving life.

Not only has she snagged a cushy job as a producer at a news program, but she’s fully embraced her “new life” of going out and having fun (which apparently includes crowd surfing and mingling with the likes of Ed Sheeran).

But after a run-in with her ex Mark Darcy ( Colin Firth) and an especially awkward meeting with a new suitor – a handsome billionaire played by Patrick Dempsey – it doesn’t take long for things to become a little complicated for the singleton.

“Aside from one tiny development,” Jones says as she discovers she’s pregnant, “everything is completely under control … sort of.”

So who is the father? That’s something even she doesn’t have the answer to.
