Let’s enjoy ourselves!” Good, 42, addressed the crowd in the clip. “So many beautiful Black faces. I love us, y’all! We are so beautiful! That’s all I got. I’m just happy to be here and I love y’all!” she said before turning it over to Majors. “Babe, you want to say anything?” Majors, 36, spoke into the mic, “Y’all heard the missus, so that’s what it is.” Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors. The Marvel actor and the Harlem star — who finalized her divorce from DeVon Franklin in June 2022 after nine years of marriage — were first romantically linked in May, as PEOPLE had confirmed at the time that the two were dating. "Meagan and Jonathan have maintained a friendship for some time," a source told PEOPLE on May 15. “Meagan has shown considerable support towards him. It seems their relationship has developed further from that point.” Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from juicy celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. News of their romance came around the time Majors was charged for allegedly physically assaulting a woman while riding in a New York taxi cab in March. Court documents from the Manhattan district attorney's office and obtained by PEOPLE assert that Majors allegedly "[struck the victim] about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear." Majors' attorney, Priya Chaudhry, said in March that her client "completely denies assaulting the woman." Chaudhry also claimed that the woman involved was being dishonest about her version of events. "Yet this false case continues, the woman's claimed location shifts, and her story morphs," Chaudhry said in a statement to PEOPLE after a May 9 hearing. "This is a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, driven by baseless claims. Instead of dismissing the allegations in the face of the woman's clear lies, the DA has adjusted the charges to match the woman's new lies." Jonathan Majors. Jon Kopaloff/Getty Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good Attend Court Together as His Assault Trial Is Postponed Chaudhry told PEOPLE that the Creed III star filed his own domestic violence complaint in late June, calling his time with the alleged victim "an enduring nightmare in their relationship." Chaudhry added, "For an excruciating four months, Jonathan Majors, the real victim in this shameful ordeal, has had his life, career, and reputation torn apart. Yet he remains unwavering in his determination to be absolved from this harrowing ordeal." A source close to Good told PEOPLE at the time that, amid Majors' legal troubles, "It's obviously not the best situation, but they're letting her make her own decisions." "It's been a little stunning to see her go from [Franklin], with faith at the center of their marriage, to Jon, but also understandable why she'd go for someone who's totally different after being with the same person for so long and not having it work out," the insider added.
