WATCH: Take a Tour of Ginger Zee's Nursery, Full of Touching Keepsakes

Bring on bedtime! Good Morning America‘s Ginger Zee gave PEOPLE a tour of the nursery for her six-month-old son, Adrian Benjamin Colonomos, which is carefully curated to include special touches from their loved ones. “It’s nice to have little pieces of everyone’s family,” says Zee, who finished third in the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars.

“The blanket is from all of my colleagues at ABC. His acronym for his name is actually ABC,” Zee, 35, says of her son. “So it works!”

And that’s not the only thing Zee incorporated from her gig as GMA‘s weather anchor.

“We’ve got a little nod to weather with some cumulus clouds on his mobile,” says Zee, who married Ben Aaron, an NBC news correspondent, in 2014.

Other sweet sentiments include well-wishing notes from baby shower guests — commissioned from friend Francesco Bilotto, who also designed the nursery — and a pillow marking Baby Adrian as “Better Half Michigander Than None.” There are also wooden shoes, a nod to her dad’s Dutch background.

Like any savvy new mom, Zee also mixed those sentimental touches with some smart products, like the changing table that can be transformed into a dresser and her Ruggable rug that’s almost baby-proof.

“You can spit up on it, which seems to happen a lot, and then throw it in the wash,” Zee says of the fun patterned floor-covering. “It’s the perfect way to keep your nursery clean.”
