Coca-Cola has issued a recall of select soda packs due to foreign object contamination.

The drink brand initially recalled specific 12-packs of Coca-Cola 12-oz. cans on March 6. On Monday, March 24, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classified it as a Class II recall, meaning that the risk is remote.

864 units of 12-packs, meaning more than 10,000 cans, are included in the recall. The recalled products were distributed in Illinois and Wisconsin, per the report, and the specific product codes of affected products can be found on the FDA’s website.

PEOPLE reached out to Coca-Cola for a comment on the recall but did not immediately hear back.

Food and drink recalls have bubbled up frequently in recent news.

Last week, a recall was issued for nearly 30,000 pounds of Chomps beef snacks after "pieces of metal" were reportedly found in the product.

On Thursday, March 20, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that Idaho Smokehouse Partners recalled approximately 29,541 pounds of iChomps ready-to-eat beef stick products due to their possible contamination with a "foreign material, specifically metal."

According to the FSIS' announcement and a statement on the Chomps website, the problem was discovered after two consumers reported that pieces of metal were found in the product.

The recall affects specific lots of 1.15-oz. Original Beef, which are sold in 12-count pouches, 8-count pouches, and single sticks. 1.15-oz. Original Turkey Stick singles are also recalled. Full details about affected products are available on the brand’s website.

Select types of Aldi cheese, Hot Ones-branded hot sauce and Lean Cuisine meals are just some of the other products recalled in the past week.
