The country star, 32, was performing a Garth Brooks song “The Dance,” when he paused to address the crowd at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. “A lot of people maybe shy away from it, but I think I’m going to do some weird stuff,” he said. “My wife and I are getting a divorce, and this is probably the hardest s— I’ve ever done in my life, to walk on stage every night and try to pretend like everything’s awesome when it really ain’t always awesome. You know what I’m saying?” The couple were married for three years and have a daughter, Pearl, 2½. Jake Owen’s Favorite Song of the Moment? “But thanks to people like you for singing along – you have no idea how much you guys lift me up every single night,” he continued. “And I love my wife more than anything in the world, and I love my little baby girl, Pearl, more than anything in the world.
