Selena Gomez Slams Rumors About Her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Performance: I 'Sing Live'

Selena Gomez is not tolerating speculation that she lip-synced at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

The singer, 23, dropped a major dose of sex appeal during the fashion spectacle, which CBS aired on Tuesday. While donning a revealing outfit, Gomez performed as the Angels strutted their stuff on the catwalk.

Victoria’s Secret later shared an image of Gomez’s appearance via Instagram – and it didn’t take long for people to claim she was lip-syncing. After seeing the comments about her performance, Gomez took to Instagram to set the record straight.

“Yes I f—– sing live,” she wrote using her official account.

Criticism was the last thing on the singer’s mind before she took the stage by storm at the Nov. 10 taping. In an Instagram she posted on Tuesday, Gomez is pictured snacking on a meal from McDonald’s, including the restaurant’s French fries.

“Wait, on the low though… This was backstage. Why do you think I covered my stomach during the show?? watch on CBS!!!” she joked in the post’s caption.

The former Disney star, who recently revealed that she underwent chemotherapy to treat Lupus, has been vocal about online shaming while promoting her new album Revival.

“You have to understand that I dealt with a lot of body shaming this year, and I’ve never experienced that before,” she said during a radio interview on L.A.’s Power 106 in September. “I don’t care about that stuff, but I did start gaining weight and I didn’t really mind it. I enjoyed it.”
