Ben Stiller struck a familiar pose on the 2025 Oscars red carpet.
While posing for photographers at the star-studded ceremony on Sunday, March 2, Stiller, 59, showed off his famous "Blue Steel" pout from his 2001 movie Zoolander for E!'s "Glambot" camera in a clip shared on Instagram.
Stiller, who played spiky-haired male model Derek Zoolander in the first flick and its 2016 sequel, pointed his fingers at the camera while giving his iconic wide-eyed stare in the slow-motion video.
The character, who Stiller first debuted in a skit at the 1996 VH1 Fashion Awards, is known for his very similar looks in the film, with poses such as Ferrari and Le Tigre also featuring his signature pout and eyebrow raise.
"It was a night at the #Oscars for Ben Stiller. ✨ #Glambot #AwardsSeason," E! News captioned the clip.
After making his big entrance at the awards ceremony on Sunday, Stiller — who wore a classic black tux and tie teamed with a white shirt for the event — went on to present the Best Production Design award to Wicked.

While on stage, the Severance director performed a funny bit about the importance of production design as he attempted to speak to the crowd from a sunken platform that wouldn’t rise to the main stage level. He then climbed out before naming the winner.

Stiller's latest "Blue Steel" pose comes after he opened up about the negative reception that Zoolander 2 received while appearing on an episode of Hot Ones in December.
Host Sean Evans asked the actor which of his movies "was most misunderstood or treated unfairly by critics, now with the benefit of hindsight."
"Oh, man, I don't know," the star responded. "I mean, look, it's very hard to analyze why critics like something or don't. I'm always surprised when critics love something and I'm always surprised when they hate something because it's so subjective."

Zoolander 2 currently sits on Rotten Tomatoes with a 22% from critics and an even lower audience score.
Stiller, who wrote, produced, directed and starred in the movie, said of the sequel, "It's hard to think it was that bad, that people didn't like it that much. But maybe I'm wrong."

He'd previously looked back on the movie's release with David Duchovny on his podcast, Fail Better.
"I thought everybody wanted this," Stiller said in April 2024 of the follow-up to the 2001 comedy, which was a box office success. "And then it's like, 'Wow, I must have really f---ed this up. Everybody didn't go to it. And it's gotten these horrible reviews."
