Bella Ramsey is feeling the love!
The Last of Us star, 21, gave rare comments about their love life amid speculation about their relationship with Maisy Stella.
Though Ramsey — who uses they/them pronouns — remained mum about any major details, they told British Vogue for the April issue that they were "properly in love" for the first time while shooting season 2 of the HBO show.
Ramsey likened their real-life experiences to what their character Ellie will encounter in the next installment of The Last of Us. (Per the outlet, Ellie finds herself developing romantic feelings for her best friend, Dina.)
"Experiencing that while I was filming the show was really special," added Ramsey, whose full feature in British Vogue is available for via digital download and on newsstands beginning Tuesday, March 25.

Rumors about Ramsey's relationship with Stella first began when the Nashville star, 21, took to her Instagram Stories to wish Ramsey a happy birthday in September 2024. In one of the posts, the duo could be seen with their arms around each other while Ramsey kissed Stella on the cheek.
“Beautiful beautiful beautiful happy birthday the coolest comfiest most wonderful human imaginable,” Stella captioned the post.

Ramsey, who came out as nonbinary in 2023, also opened up about their gender and sexual identity in the new interview and told British Vogue why they didn't like putting labels on themselves.
“Part of the job of being an actor is that you’re supposed to have an answer to every question that people ask you,” they said of coming out as nonbinary and identifying as "not 100 percent straight."
“But actually the answer can be: ‘I don’t know and I’m not ready to talk about that,’ and that’s something that I’m still figuring out," Ramsey said.

The actor compared their identity to their autism diagnosis, explaining how that particular label has been "so helpful" to them when it comes to better understanding themselves. "But gender and sexuality-wise, labels do not feel comfy for me in any capacity, because I feel like I’m putting myself into a box. I feel trapped," Ramsey said.

“It does make me a bit sad that people who aren’t in the public eye can explore their gender identity or sexuality in private,” they continued. “That’s a privilege I don’t really get any more. If I did want to explore other things, like facets of my gender identity, that would be done publicly."
"As much as I would try and keep it private, if someone recognizes me on the street, say if I’m presenting differently, [and] takes a photo, then that is just talked about," they added.
