Bear and Raiven Brown are going their separate ways.

The Alaskan Bush People stars announced their split in respective Instagram posts on Monday, April 21, following three years of marriage and over six years together.

"Raiven and I have decided to separate, we are still good friends and will be co-parenting together," Bear, 37, wrote in a post, referring to the pair's three sons, River, 5, Cove, 2, and Everest, 8 months. "It’s something we have been discussing for awhile, and we feel it is the best thing to do for us, and our children."

Bear called it a "mutual decision" and said there are "no hard feelings between us" as he asked fans to "please be respectful to Raiven and not be hateful."

"We will always have love for each other," the reality star said.

In Raiven's post, she said they are "friends" and "have love for one another," but "unfortunately, it’s just not been a possible outcome to work things out" despite "years of trying."

"No anger is behind the decision," she continued. "It’s just something we have been discussing and trying to manage. We are so appreciative of everyone who has been in our corner and we hope that you can continue to support us in this journey."

She similarly noted that they plan to "co-parent well and both parents will be very actively involved!"

"We are so appreciative of everyone who has been in our corner and we hope that you can continue to support us in this journey," she concluded the post.

Bear and Raiven began dating in 2019 after meeting at his brother Noah's wedding the year before and he told PEOPLE at the time, "I'm the happiest I've ever been."

They got engaged that same year but split just two weeks later. It was then announced that they were expecting their first child together despite the breakup. They rekindled things eventually but went on to split again, so Bear did not meet his son River until six months after his birth when he and Raiven reconciled.
