The 2023 Emmy Awards just made some history in 2024.
After being delayed due to the Hollywood strikes, TV's biggest night came and went, with all of your favorite celebrities hitting the red carpet.
The Emmys were held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Monday. Hosting this year was actor Anthony Anderson, helping to mark the Emmy Awards' landmark 75th anniversary.

Succession Closes Out the Night as the 2023 Outstanding Drama Series
Succession ended its "four seasons of satire" with a final win at the Emmys for outstanding drama series.
Series creator Jesse Armstrong accepted the honor onstage, flanked by some of the stars (and including the night's big winners Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin and Matthew Macfadyen).
The Bear's Matty Matheson Thanks 'Restaurants as a Whole' as The Bear Wins Outstanding Comedy Series
The Bear is officially the 2023 Emmy winner for outstanding comedy series.
Show star Matty Matheson, who portrays Neil, gave a humorous acceptance speech, specifically thanking "Restaurants as a whole, hospitality as a whole." He noted, "I just love restaurants so much" before receiving a lengthy onstage smooch from costar Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Tracee Ellis Ross and Natasha Lyonne Replicate the I Love Lucy Chocolate Factory Scene
It's a chocolatey blast from the past.
Tracee Ellis Ross and Natasha Lyonne presented outstanding comedy series on Monday after getting into character by recreating an iconic scene from I Love Lucy.
The pair was shown on television in black-and-white, with Ross dressed head-to-toe like Lucille Ball as they tried to quickly eat chocolates as they came down a conveyor belt.

Sarah Snook Tells Her Infant Daughter "It's All for You" as She Wins Emmy for Succession

The actress is the 2023 outstanding lead actor in a drama series for portraying Shiv Roy, the beleaguered daughter of Waystar Royco patriarch and titan Logan Roy.
Snook honored her daughter, whose birth she announced in May, during the acceptance speech. "It's all for you, from here on out," she assured the little girl.
The Ally McBeal Cast Dances to Barry White Before Presenting Emmy to Kieran Culkin (Who Wants More Kids)
The cast reunion fun continued with Calista Flockhart and her costars from Ally McBeal.
Flockhart was joined for a congo-esque line by Greg Germann, Peter MacNicol and Gil Bellows. The crew shimmied out of a bathroom stall to "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" by Barry White.
The actress then presented outstanding lead actor in a drama series to Succession star Kieran Culkin, who continued his spree of fun acceptance speeches by asking his wife Jazz Charton for more children.
Charlie Puth Performs "See You Again" for Emmys In Memoriam Tribute
Charlie Puth was chosen to soundtrack the emotional Emmys In Memoriam segment on Monday. The singer performed his emotional hit "See You Again" accompanied by The War and Treaty, husband-and-wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter.
Among the late stars honored this year were Richard Roundtree, Angela Lansbury, Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Richard Belzer, Ron Cephas Jones, Treat Williams, Angus Cloud, Norman Lear, Suzanne Somers, Leslie Jones and Bob Barker.
They then transitioned into "I'll Be There for You," the Friends theme song, before showing a photo of Matthew Perry, who died in late October 2023.
Joan Collins Takes the Stage Looking Incredible at 90

Beef's Steven Yeun just won yet another honor for portraying Danny Cho in the Netflix series. Yeun is the 2023 outstanding lead actor in a limited or anthology series or movie.
In Beef, Danny's repressed anger is unleashed after he finds himself in a road rage scenario with Ali Wong's character.
Elton John Is Officially an EGOT
Elton John has officially reached EGOT status — AKA the singer has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and a Tony.
Though John wasn't at the Emmys ceremony due to a recent surgery, he achieved the honor through his outstanding variety special (live) victory.
He won for his Disney+ variety show Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.
Live from Los Angeles, It's Monday Night!
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler just brought Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update segment to the Emmys stage — and did it with a self-referential joke about Mean Girls from Fey.

Carson Daly Is the Best Purse Holder for Ayo Edebiri
Did you miss the moment earlier in the night when newly-minted Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri tapped Today's Carson Daly to hang onto her bag for her?
When Edebiri was announced as the winner of outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series, the actress immediately could be seen closing up her purse and trying to put it down on her seat before deciding to hand it off to her seatmate Daly.

The Cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Wonders "Have You Guys Been Doing This Every Single Year Without Us?"
While presenting The Daily Show with Trevor Noah's outstanding talk series, the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was a bit confused to hear that the Emmys have been happening for 75 years.

Jeremy Allen White Dedicates His Emmy to His Kids Ezer and Dolores
The firsts continue with Jeremy Allen White taking home the Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series. White portrays Carmy in the show, which focuses on the chef taking over his brother's hole-in-the-wall restaurant after the latter's death.
White is a proud dad of two, and called out his young children Ezer and Dolores during his acceptance speech.
Some of Television's Most Iconic Casts — Including from The Sopranos and Martin — Are Reuniting Onstage
The 2023 Emmy Awards are bringing together beloved television casts to present the evening's awards. So far, we've gotten some of the stars of The Sopranos, your favorite leads from Martin and Holland Taylor and Jon Cryer from Two and a Half Men.

Quinta Brunson Just Won Her First Acting Emmy
Abbott Elementary's Quinta Brunson was victorious as outstanding lead actress in a comedy series. She was emotional while accepting the honor presented by comedy legend Carol Burnett — and notably didn't have a speech prepared.
"I love making Abbott Elementary so much and I am so happy to be able to live my dream," she said.
A Standing Ovation Brings Presenter Christina Applegate to Tears
As Christina Applegate took the stage to present outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series, the gathered crowd at the Peacock Theater got to their feet. The standing ovation brought Applegate, who announced her MS diagnosis in 2021, to tears.

Ayo Edebiri Wins the Night's First Award
It's been a clean sweep for Ayo Edebiri this awards season. After snagging a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award, the actress won outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for The Bear.
During her acceptance speech, she jokingly apologized for making her parents "sit kinda far away from me because I'm a bad kid." Still, they got a shout-out: "Thanks so much for loving me and letting me feel beautiful Black and proud of all of that."

Anthony Anderson's Mom Cuts Him Off After Musical Opening Monologue
Anthony Anderson kicked things off on Monday night by opting to make things musical.
Sitting behind the piano — yes, that was really Anderson playing — he was joined by a choir to croon some iconic theme songs from television shows of yesteryear, including from Good Times and The Facts of Life. Travis Barker even accompanied Anderson on the drums during the host's rendition of "In the Air Tonight."

A special treat is in store for Grey's Anatomy fans on Monday night — some of the cast's OG stars are reuniting on the stage.
Actress Katherine Heigl teased the big moment (an "odd, nostalgic walk down memory lane") during her pre-show chat with PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly, and noted that it's been decades since she's seen some of her former costars.
"We don't see each other often," Heigl admitted. Still, she said, "These are people that mean a lot, meant a lot to me. . . . I miss them, so it's really nice."

Monday night's host is Anthony Anderson, and he has a special weapon to make sure things go smoothly: his mama.

Keough was joined on the carpet by her husband Ben Smith-Petersen, as well as her grandmother, Priscilla Presley.
The family outing comes just one year after the death of Keough's mother and Priscilla's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. She was the only child of Elvis Presley. It also follows Keough and her grandmother reaching a settlement agreement over Lisa Marie’s estate.

Succession's favorite odd couple was reunited on the Emmy Awards red carpet, in a moment captured by Variety.
J. Smith-Cameron, who portrayed Gerri Kellman in the series, was speaking to the outlet when her costar Kieran Culkin ran up and hugged her from behind.
"I love Kieran Culkin and he's my absolute favorite to work with even though he's an a------ to me," Culkin joked.
After sharing a little kiss, Culkin jetted off and Smith-Cameron shared the truth of her feelings for the actor: "I'm pretty crazy about him, but he's also a brat."
In Succession, Smith-Cameron's Gerri shared a sometimes-flirty, sometimes-menacing relationship with Culkin's Roman Roy.
The Red Carpet Is the Best Date Night
After making their red carpet debut as a couple at the Golden Globes, Jason Segel and So You Think You Can Dance alum Kayla Radomski are making another glamorous date night out of the 75th annual Emmy Awards.

Beloved comedy series Abbott Elementary is finally returning next month — and it's apparently packing a one-two punch.
While chatting with PEOPLE's Janine Rubenstein and Entertainment Weekly's Patrick Gomez during the pre-show, actress Lisa Ann Walter teased a "double episode" for the season premiere with "lots of stuff happening in it."
The hour-long premiere exists, fellow Abbott star Tyler James Williams told the PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly pre-show, because they "needed that much time to catch up."
The Nominees Are Ready
While the carpet is just getting started, some stars have been ready all weekend for their big Emmys moment — including 2023 nominee Niecy Nash-Betts.
On Sunday, Nash Betts posted a video of herself dancing to Beyoncé's "My House." Alongside the fun clip, Nash-Betts — nominated for her role in Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story — wrote, "Emmy weekend MOOD 🤣."
