Los Angles-based bakery chain Sweet Lady Jane recently announced on social media that it was abruptly closing its doors after sales were "not enough to continue doing business in the state of California." Blake Lively, Sophia Bush and more flocked the comment section of the bakery's Instagram post to bid the company farewell. And while most celebrities and customers shared words of support with the bakery, which was a staple in the community for 35 years, the Vanderpump Rules star used the moment to express his frustrations. Sweet Lady Jane/Instagram In May 2023, the company shared an image of a cake featuring the phrase "Sandoval's a liar" written on it in frosting. This came after news broke that Sandoval cheated on his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix with their costar Raquel Leviss. Now Vanderpump alum Billie Lee tagged Sandoval, 40, in the latest post questioning if the store's closure was "karma." "I never had a cake by @sweetladyjanecakeshop that wasn’t super dried out," Sandoval wrote back. "Maybe people started to catch on?" Sandoval then aired out his grievances with his name being used on their famous triple berry cake. "Also, to charge $$$ selling cakes using my name in negative [sayings] on it really hurt my feelings, and almost pushed me over the edge," he added.
