I’m disqualified from sitting in a jury, and it makes me sad. I’d love to watch a proceeding from that perspective.

 

What surprised me was seeing that 2 out of three people there were women. I had expected a 50-50 mix. Also, most people looked under 35. Hard to get a jury of your peers with such skewed participation.

 

It's good to sit one and see what it's like.

Imma assume you’ve cleaned the filter/trap, yes? And made sure if you’ve got one with a telescoping middle sprayer that all pieces are free and it will extend.

Turn off the breaker, unscrew it from underneath the counter, lay down some thick towels, pull it out onto milk crates on top of the towels. First thing, check the main drain seal. Is it damp? If it’s clogged often it’s cherry pits or something really hard, that’ll create too much pressure inside the unit and the pump won’t work right.

If it’s damp, undo the seal, inspect it. If it look lopsided or uneven, head to your local plumbing supply and replace it. Buy some plumber’s tape while you’re there and use it inside the cowling.

Look up into the machine and down the drain hose, run something into it, make sure it’s clear. Hook it up, run it, hopefully all is okay. Watch the casing during the cycle.

If that doesn’t fix it, curse my name and call an appliance repair guy.

Thank you, he's my special boy. When we went to rescue another dog I'd seen him on their website but was told at the kennels he was Reserved and had been for months. We tried our girl with another dog but it didn't work out so we went home resigned to just having one dog. The next day we got a phone call saying the other person had pulled out and did we still want the dog?! Did we lol? We got straight in the car and the rest is history. But the point is, if he hadn't been reserved someone else would have snapped him up, he was meant to be ours, he was waiting for me to find him!
