Tate McRae loves her gay fans — and isn't afraid to admit it!
In an interview with Pride on Tuesday, Feb. 25, the rising pop star, 21, opened up about why her LGBTQ+ fans are her "favorite" — and revealed her "whole team" is gay.
"They're my favorite," McRae told the publication. "No one beats them. Nobody is better than them."
Added the "Sports Car" musician: "My whole team is gay! That's the only opinion I really want when I'm releasing music. I feel lucky that I have their opinion. We want to do the most and push the boundaries, but it's also the most brutally honest advice."

McRae also called her gay fans her "number ones."
"You know that as much as you guys ride for me, I ride for you. I feel very grateful to have you guys in my life and surrounding me," she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, McRae opened up about who would be her dream collaboration.
"My dream is to write with SZA," the "Greedy" hitmaker told the outlet. "She's one of the coolest and best writers ever. I love her."
In her mind, their team-up would be "a mix of pop and R&B."
"I'd let her take the charge!" said McRae. "I just want to always keep pushing my comfort zone. I never want to recycle and do the same things. As an artist, I want to be uncomfortable and shock myself sometimes."

The "She's All I Wanna Be" performer released her third studio album So Close to What on Feb. 21.
The LP features "I Know Love," a collaboration with McRae's boyfriend, The Kid LAROI. At a recent Spotify event, she spoke about the inherently kind of awkward nature of working with a romantic partner — especially on something creative.
"It was a really funny process because me and Laroi have never really taken each other seriously," said McRae. "You know when you’re in a relationship, and you sing around each other, you don't really sing. So, it's a little stressful being in the studio, singing and writing in front of him, but it was a cool experience to watch him in his process."
