Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy is an American actor and comedian. He first gained recognition as a stand-up comedian when he was a teenager and as a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984. Murphy's most famous films include 48 Hrs. (1982), Trading Places (1983), Beverly Hills Cop (1984), Coming to America (1988), The Nutty Professor (1996), Doctor Doolittle (1998), Daddy Day Care (2003), Tower Heist (2011), Dolemite Is My Name (2019) and Coming 2 America (2021). He also voiced Donkey in the Shrek animated film series. In 2007, Murphy won a Golden Globe for best supporting actor in Dreamgirls, and he also received an Oscar nomination for the role.
