Michael Strahan just earned the honor of a lifetime for a soap opera fan.

Susan Lucci joined Strahan, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America on Monday, Feb. 24, and things got a bit out of hand as the iconic actress gave Strahan, 53, another lesson in amping up the drama for a TV fight.

"Last time you were here, you put those chops to the test. You taught me the good old fake TV slap," Strahan said. "So how do you take a good soap opera fight to the next level?"

"I think we have more in us," Lucci, 78, told him. "Should we go for it?"

She then laid out how to set the stage for a truly juicy fight, as she said, "I think it's really important to not just out of nowhere, just all of a sudden, have a fight. You have to be in that moment where you are really, really ticked off."

"And you know what, a prop really helps too," she continued, grabbing a glass of water nearby.

Once Lucci had escalated things, Roberts, 64, and Stephanopoulos, 52, got out of the way, leaving their colleague to face the wrath alone — and he did. Lucci tossed the entirety of the glass of water toward Strahan, though, she missed him with most of it, then called him a "great sport" for handling it so well.

He admitted that his "anxiety level went" up after Lucci grabbed the water, but still, he was game for more.

"Bring more water. C'mon. Let's do this thing right. Get the aim right," he said, and the All My Children star was given another glass, which she threw right into his face.

A GMA crewmember then handed Lucci a huge jug of water, and she demanded Strahan get "down on [his] knees," and she dumped the water on his head, soaking him.

"I know some guys who are in big trouble when this show is over," Strahan said.
