Supernatural things were afoot during Super Bowl weekend!

On Tuesday, Nina Dobrev shared a Big Game recap on Instagram with her Vampire Diaries costar Candice King. In one photo, the ladies were joined by Sarah Michelle Gellar, who starred as the title badass on Buffy the Vampire Slayer

“The photos may be disposable 📷 but the memories definitely arent…,” Dobrev, 35, captioned the upload.

Others who appeared in the Super Bowl images included Miles Teller's wife Keleigh, Dobrev's Olympic gold medalist boyfriend Shaun White, Liza Koshy, Glen Powell and Danny Ramirez — but there was one trio that fans simply could not resist commenting on.

“Is that two vampires with the slayer?😭 the picture I never knew I needed,” one person asked of Dobrev, King and Gellar.

Another added, “The Vampire Slayer and the two Vampires... It's the perfection 🤩♥️”

Buffy the Vampire Slayer debuted in March 1997. For 7 seasons, fans watched as the high school teen battled demons and balanced her love and social life. The series ended in 2003, and several years later, The Vampire Diaries launched in September 2009 before its final episode in 2017.

"People love to remind me that it [has been] 20 years," Gellar, 46, told talk show host Graham Norton last January about people still being a fan of her breakout role. "I love that people still reference it — but I don't need the actual date and passage of time so people realize how old I am!"

Dobrev recently sparked interest in the possibility of a Vampire Diaries reunion thanks to a November social media post.

A TikTok shared to her account featured appearances by her former costars King, Paul Wesley, Kat Graham, Kayla Ewell, Michael Trevino and The Originals star Claire Holt.

Fans went wild in Dobrev's comments.

“This is iconic,” one person wrote, while another asked, “WHAT DOES THIS MEAN NINA 😩😩😩”
