Even Zendaya’s costars are some of her “fangirls!”
Euphoria actress Storm Reid admitted in Vogue's new cover story — featuring the 27-year-old Emmy winner — that although they play sisters on the HBO drama, she’s still a fan of the actress.
“I still have to sometimes try to not fangirl when I’m around her,” said The Last of Us star, 20, shared.

Reid, unlike some future costars, first met Zendaya more than a decade ago. At the time, a 9-year-old Reid asked the Disney Channel’s Shake It Up star for a photo in a Los Angeles Ben & Jerry’s. And a few short years later, the two would soon be acting opposite one another as Rue Bennett (Zendaya) and Georgia “Gia” Bennett (Reid).
“She’s still one of my biggest inspirations, and I think she’s just so incredibly talented,” the Emmy winner shared with Vogue.

Reid previously celebrated her costar and hinted at their close bond in a January 2023 interview with PEOPLE.
"I always go to her for advice," revealed the Missing actress at the time. "She's always just super honest, super blunt, in the most loving, gentle way. But she's still gonna tell you how she feels. And I love that because I am a very blunt, straightforward person. Just cut around all of the extra fluff and, you know, get straight to the point."

While the Dune actress’ costar can’t help but fangirl, Spider-Man franchise producer Amy Pascal admitted to Vogue she didn’t know who Zendaya was when she first auditioned for the franchise. Pascal revealed that "neither [Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige] nor I knew who she was" when she initially auditioned to play MJ in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming.
“She was wearing no makeup and she was just dressed like a regular girl, and we were like, ‘Oh my God, she’s amazing. She has to be in the movie,'" said Pascal. "And then we found out she was a totally famous person, and felt really stupid.”
