Spring Fling Season Is Here, and 3 Zodiac Signs Will Revisit a Sizzling Past Romance

Spring fling season is upon us as we close the door on the cold, dark — and potentially lonely — winters that had many of us nestled inside our homes. Now, unleash your social butterfly self and get out there!

"We have a lovely season ahead of us with many juicy energies to fulfill our hunger for love and intimacy," celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively of the next few months.

Spring starts on Thursday, March 20, and wraps on Friday, June 20, when summer begins. There are several astrological and astronomical happenings taking place in the three-month span that are sure to make our hearts bloom.

Jupiter (our planet of luck) is in the high skies of Gemini until June 9. "This amplifies our social lives," says Thomas, adding that it allows "us to meet unique, interesting and like-minded people."

He notes that Mars (our planet of sex and passion), Venus (our planet of love) and Mercury (our planet of the mind) are in retrograde until mid-May, so a "sluggish pace" may be felt as a result. However, other cosmic activity will make it bearable.

For example, Thomas says the solar eclipse in Aries on March 20 will have us "chasing our own independence with our own desires first" and the full moon in Libra "puts a major spotlight on relationships in our lives."

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Prepare to reconnect with the past, Aries! "You may be crossing paths with old hookups or flames from days gone by," predicts Thomas.

"This could help you to find closure, heal, release baggage or reignite the spark if you want to," he says. "The key to doing so, though, is to be sure that both of you have grown enough to give the relationship another go."

"All Aries will be standing atop a vibrant chariot of fire as their love lives pick up heat from mid-April until the beginning of the summer season," Thomas continues. "This is some of the best time in ages for singles to find someone truly special."

Taurus (April 19-May 20)

Listen to your heart, Taurus! "Your emotions are likely to be especially enflamed this time of the year," Thomas puts forth.

"Love in your true authenticity, regardless if single or attached, and know who you are and what you want," he continues. "Radical shifts could be presented to you, but the key to embracing this new chapter is to be courageous and let your charisma and attraction work wonders."

He adds, "Always pay attention to your own self-worth and self-value and if people aren’t respecting that, then they aren’t meant for you. Above all, be free."

Gemini (May 20-June 20)

Luck is upon you, Gemini! "You must assert yourself, know what you want and show the world what makes you so special and unique," says Thomas.

"Remember, this is a time to live it up. Make your own luck!" he continues. "True love, soulmate connections, fertility and taking the next step are all quite possible... the universe is smiling upon you." He adds, "Visualize, seize the day and pursue happiness and pleasure above all else."

Cancer (June 20-July 22)

It's time for a clean slate, Cancer! "The first half of spring could have you fired up to take charge and move forward on your personal goals," says Thomas.

"However, you're still going to sense that you’re being rather reflective on life, love and relationships," he continues. "On a positive note, you could do a great deal of healing if you need to. Yet, some of you may just instead be opting out to pursue a bit more privacy at this time."

"Luckily, the second half of spring and into June sparkle with lots of popularity, lucky new beginnings and a more optimistic viewpoint on romance," Thomas adds. "That’s your time to strike!"

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

You're the center of attention, Leo! "With crowning stars amping up your celebrity profile, you’ll be at the top of everyone’s event invite list," Thomas puts forth.

"Expect to be attending a plethora of dazzling events, birthdays and parties where you’ll be strutting your stuff like life is your very own Hollywood red carpet," he says. "You’ll be able to mix and mingle with fabulous pals, meet new ones or even turn a friend into a lover!"

"If attached, make travel a big priority for the two of you," he puts forth. "If single, you could find your spring fling while traveling." He adds, "Mid spring could bring make-or-break moments and ultimatums, though, so do your best to tread lightly."

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)

Prepare for a whirlwind, Sagittarius! "Your zodiac sign is most likely to stumble into a love triangle," Thomas puts forth.

"You may juggle a long-term partner, hear from the one who got away or start dating someone and find that old hook-ups and exes are blowing up your DMs," he continues. "While it might sound like fun, it could also be a tremendous amount of drama."
