Prince Nikolaos is a married man again, less than a year after announcing his divorce from his first wife.
Prince Nikolaos, 55, wed Chrysà Vardinogianni on Friday, Feb. 7, at St. Nikolaos Ragavas church in Athens. The bride topped off her wedding day look with a royal headpiece: the Antique Corsage Tiara, which was borrowed from the groom's mother, Queen Anne-Marie.
The guest list for the ceremony included members of the Greek royal family such as Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal.
The prince's relationship with ChrysÃ, the daughter of shipping magnate Giorgos Vardinogiannis, became public in January 2025. Prince Nikolaos' second marriage comes less than a year after his divorce from Princess Tatiana, 44, was announced.
The Greek royal family's office said in a statement on April 19, "Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana, after fourteen years of living together, have decided to dissolve their marriage. Both express the difficulty of this decision, the deep appreciation and respect they have for each other, but also the love with which they have walked all these years. The same values of respect and understanding will form the basis of their relationship in the future, a relationship of deep and sincere friendship. They will continue to live and be active in Greece, the place they both feel at home."
"Family will always be by their side," the statement continued. "Thank you very much for your respect and discretion."

The breakup news came just weeks after Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana walked arm-in-arm at the thanksgiving service for King Constantine, Nikolaos' father and the last king of Greece who ruled until the abolition in June 1973. Members of the Greek and British royal families gathered at St. George's Chapel inside Windsor Castle for the service on Feb. 27, 2024.
Princess Tatiana, who kept her royal title following the divorce, shared a post on social media about "looking towards the light" as 2025 began.
"As the New Year begins, I wish for us all to welcome more light into our lives. To live purposefully, peacefully, and passionately — understanding that even in the darkest moments, we can be the light for others, just as others have been for us," she said in a Jan. 6 post on Instagram. "Last year was a year of transformation for me, filled with changes that challenged me to grow, to learn and to rebuild a life that truly reflects who I am. There were times I felt caught between identities, navigating a limbo of self-discovery. Yet, in those moments, I found clarity. By embracing my true self, I uncovered a new strength."
