Madison, 25, shared in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published Wednesday, March 4, that following her surprising Best Actress win at the 2025 Oscars, there was one fellow nominee she had to reach out to. After describing her win for Anora as "surreal" on the Oscars stage, Madison said she texted The Substance star, whose performance in Coralie Fargeat's body horror movie had set her as a front-runner at Sunday's 97th Academy Awards. Both actresses had collected wins throughout awards season for their memorable roles, such as Moore nabbing a 2025 Critics Choice Award and Madison winning at the 2025 BAFTAs.
