We’re paraphrasing the Batman v. Superman trailer, which is probably something you picked up on, because it was everywhere last week. And, as is the natural next step in the life cycle of anything on the Internet, it’s become fodder for YouTube. Specifically, it’s become fodder for Bobby Burns, “filmmaker, movie reviewer and lover of cinema” (per his YouTube channel), who has recut the trailer, “retro-style,” to feature Adam West and Christopher Reeve as Batman and Superman. Turns out, all you need to make West’s notoriously groovy ’60s-era Batman seem a little more threatening is a voice-over of him asking Superman if he bleeds.
