The actress, who plays Elizabeth in 1923, the wife of Mirren and Ford's great-nephew, Jack Dutton (Darren Mann), tells PEOPLE what it's like to work with the iconic actors, who she calls "the greatest of all time." "Helen and Harrison both just love what they do, and they're so there on set and so present and conversational," Randolph, 27, says. "And getting to do scenes with them — I was getting a master class every day. Every single day." Trae Patton/Paramount+ When it comes time for her to get on camera, though, she admits that on the "inside" she's "freaking out." "Because I'm like, [I] must rise to this level," she says. "I was mesmerized every time either of them delivered any lines to me." Given the caliber of her scene partners, Randolph is especially grateful for the gap between seasons 1 and 2 of 1923, which were in large part due to the writers' strike. Christopher Saunders/Paramount+ "[Season 1], it happened so fast, and then having that year off to really digest what I had just gotten to do, going into season two was so great because I just really could be present and so grateful for the opportunity to work with these, I mean the greats of all time," she says. It helps, too, that season 2, which premiered on Feb. 23, is "so worth the wait." "I know it's been two years, and that's difficult to wait so long between seasons," she says. And I think in season 2, we see her find her strength." "Now that she's a Dutton, we get to see her really come into herself, which is exactly what was so fun to play about it," she continues. "We get to see this evolution of who she's becoming."
