New Mug Shot of College Student Lily Stewart Released After Second Arrest in 1 Month. Here's What She Told Police

Police allege Lily Stewart ran away from an officer at her school after entering an unlocked, closed building on campus while, according to her friends, they were on their way home

Following her second arrest in a month — for allegedly entering an unlocked building at her university after it was closed and then avoiding a responding officer — authorities released another mug shot of a Georgia woman whose booking photo for a previous arrest, for speeding, went viral.

Lily Stewart, a 20-year-old University of Georgia student, was arrested for a second time on Sunday, March 23, according to the school's police department.

She was booked into the Clarke County Jail, according to a police report and jail records obtained by PEOPLE.

She has since been released on bond; she and her attorney declined to comment to PEOPLE.

Stewart's first mug shot circulated after an arrest on suspicion of speeding in excess of the maximum limits on March 8 in Morgan County, Ga.

Days after her first arrest, Stewart told PEOPLE that she was "hitting 85 [mph] in the 55" zone while on her way to a party at Georgia College & State University. Stewart was initially issued a ticket before being pulled over again minutes later for speeding twice.

She maintained in an interview that she has learned her lesson about reckless driving and will be doing community service.

Stewart is now separately charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering/prowling, according to a police report from Sunday's incident.

The report, obtained by PEOPLE, details how Stewart and three other young people — another woman and two men, all either 19 or 20 years old — were allegedly seen entering the university's main student center around 3 a.m. local time on Sunday, after the building was closed.

The group was able to enter through a door that didn't appear to be "latched properly," the report states.

However, according to police, Stewart and the others should have known better. They later said they were on their way home from a night out, the report states.

When an officer initially responded, he saw the group inside the student center and the group "saw [him] and looked back at each other before quickly turning around and walking,” according to the police report.

Later, when the officer found them in a nearby parking deck, the group insisted “that they had not seen [him] and were trying to get to their respective residence," according to the report.

The group also said they had been downtown in Athens, Ga., where the university is located, and one of them said they thought the student center “was open and were just trying to get home.”

Police allege that the woman and two men in the group with Stewart allegedly had fake IDs and had been drinking underage, but not Stewart herself.

Police also said that Stewart allegedly separated herself from the other three as they were leaving the student center, when the officer approached.

She was soon found hiding behind a brick wall outside Sanford Stadium, where the Georgia football team plays, the police report states.

"I didn't want to get caught doing anything bad because I am out on bond right now," she allegedly told an officer, according to the police report.

"Was it the trespassing? Truly that was actually my fault," she also said, the report alleges.

In a previous interview with PEOPLE, Stewart remarked on her appearance in her viral mug shot.

“There are some beautiful mug shots. I don't think mine's particularly stunning,” she said. “I actually think it's a bad photo of me. If you see me in person, I don't really look the same as I do in that mug shot. I don't think it's a great photo of me.”
