Lauren Sánchez Reflects on 'Challenges that Shaped' Her and 'Wins that Inspired' Her Throughout 2024

Lauren Sánchez is ready for 2025!

The Emmy Award-winning journalist, 55, penned a message commemorating her eventful 2024 while welcoming in the new year.

Sánchez uploaded an Instagram post on Friday, Jan. 3, wearing a sexy silver ensemble. She added three photos posing in a metallic mesh formfitting gown with a deep cowl neckline that showed off her décolletage. The gown’s neckline transitioned into a hood that Sánchez delicately placed on her head to show off her new honey-blonde highlights.

Sánchez paired the metallic mesh dress with diamond earrings and her 30-carat diamond engagement ring from fiancé Jeff Bezos.

“Thank you, 2024— reflecting on the challenges that shaped me, the wins that inspired me, and the amazing people who lifted me up,” Sánchez wrote in her Jan. 3 Instagram caption. 

She continued by expressing her hopes for the coming year. “This year, I embrace illumination, striving to help others find their light and shine their brightest in 2025—a year of continued growth, shared light, and endless possibilities. ✨.”

The author also added a few Instagram Stories celebrating the New Year, including a video of the ocean at sunset with the caption: "THIS IS YOUR YEAR! 🤍."

Sánchez added a bikini selfie showing off her new hairstyle. She wore a baby blue bikini and her hair down in the photo. She reposted the photo from makeup artist Laura Ann, and Sánchez added to her Stories, "🤍🤍."

Sánchez’s New Year’s celebrations follow her holiday festivities with Bezos, 60. On Monday, Dec. 23, the former television anchor shared a holiday-esque sexy selfie to her Instagram Stories in a curve-hugging, fuzzy white maxi dress and diamonds. Her dress appeared to be a cream knit low-back dress from Khy by Kylie Jenner in collaboration with Entire Studios. 

Meanwhile, days before, for her 55th birthday on Thursday, Dec. 19, Sánchez wore a latex little black dress. The sexy and strappy number featured a low-cut neckline and sparkling sequins to give the birthday girl some added shine.

Sánchez shared a peek at her celebrations with an Instagram post on Friday, Dec. 20 that featured snaps alongside her friends. 

“How it started—how it ended,” Sánchez began as the caption to her celebratory Instagram carousel showcasing before and after photos.

“What a truly magical evening. I have never felt more grateful or more loved. Thank you to everyone who reached out and wished me a happy birthday—you lit up my day in ways I can’t describe. 🤍. Here’s to another year around the sun, illuminated by the people who make every moment shine. 🤍✨🪩,” she wrote.
