Jenna Bush Hager has a confession to make!

On Friday, April 11 while hosting Today with Jenna & Friends, Bush Hager, 43, opened up to guest host Bowen Yang about a little white lie she told during her recent travels.

“Should I admit something? I traveled last weekend. I broke my middle finger over spring break and I have to admit, I put the sling on so I could go a little early to board at 32D,” she shared.

Yang, 34, didn’t seem too taken aback by his co-host’s confession. Instead, he wanted more details on her injury.

“And what were you doing with the middle finger to break it in the first place?” he asked, to which Bush Hager responds, “I fell.”

She notes that in the moment, she was conflicted on whether she should use her injury to her advantage while boarding.

“But anyway, I found my sling in my purse and I thought, ‘Do I do it?’ Because I was boarding class 5,” she said. “So I put that sling on. I’m like, ‘Ma’am, do you mind?’”

Yang then agreed that she was right to use her finger cast to board early, adding, “If you have the sling, you must.”

Justifying her confession even more, Bush Hager added, “And it’s still injured. I can’t bend it more than that.”

Jokingly, Bowen then asked her to “give me the sling, I want to board at group 0," to which she quipped back, “I boarded in 2."

In a previous episode of Today with Jenna & Friends on March 24, Bush Hager talked more about the injury and revealed that this was not the first time she has fractured one of her fingers.

"Y’all may notice that I’m wearing a splint,” said Jenna, who then joked to her co-host during the episode, twin sister Barbara Bush, “I may have you sign [it] during the commercial break.”

“Oh, I’d love to. What happened, sissy?” Barbara asked.

“I unfortunately dislocated my middle finger,” she replied. While she didn’t elaborate on how she broke her finger at the time, she did point out that the injury was graphic and producers would need to “put a warning on, because we’re going to show the picture.”

Barbara added, “If you’re queasy, don’t look at your television for the photo,” which showed her sister’s middle finger sticking out at an unnatural angle.

“Now some people may think, ‘Wow, that’s the first time something’s ever happened to your finger,’” Jenna said, prompting Barbara to chime in, “But they would be wrong.”

Jenna continued, “In the X-ray, the guy said, ‘Seems like you have a lot of hairline fractures in this finger. And I said, ‘Well, now I’ve broken three of my 10 fingers.' ”

Earlier in February, Jenna sparked rumors of marital trouble with her husband, Henry Chase Hager, when she stopped wearing her wedding ring. However, that was due to another finger-related injury after she broke her ring finger.

"I’m not wearing one now because I broke my finger, but don’t worry, I’ve seen some of the comments, Henry and I are still very happily married," she clarified at the time.
