A Texas politician has two choice words for Elon Musk.

On the steps of the U.S. Capitol, Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett had a simple response to a reporter's query — if she had the chance to speak directly to the billionaire and Department of Government Efficiency head, what would she say?

Without hesitation, Crockett replied, "F--- off."

Bystanders laughed while someone in the background praised her simple message.

Crockett, 43, began her tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives in January 2023, representing a portion of Dallas.

Since President Donald Trump's inauguration, Crockett has been vocal in her opposition to his policies and statements, including federal firings — which have largely been led or recommended by Musk.

Prior to earning her Capitol Hill position, Crockett served as a Texas state representative from 2021-2023. She began her career as a public defender and civil rights attorney.
