On the steps of the U.S. Capitol, Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett had a simple response to a reporter's query — if she had the chance to speak directly to the billionaire and Department of Government Efficiency head, what would she say? Without hesitation, Crockett replied, "F--- off." Bystanders laughed while someone in the background praised her simple message. Prior to earning her Capitol Hill position, Crockett served as a Texas state representative from 2021-2023. She began her career as a public defender and civil rights attorney.
