Nancy Wilson might've blushed the first time she heard "The Lemon Song."

While appearing on the podcast 100 Guitarists for their Jan. 7 episode, the Heart icon spoke about when she saw Led Zeppelin for the first time live and was scandalized by guitarist Jimmy Page.

Nancy, 70, first recalled when she heard Led Zeppelin at a party in high school in a friend's basement being "blasted" from a turntable and a set of speakers.

"It was dark and people were making out and there was smoke in the air and some booze," she recalled, adding that it was the "coolest den of iniquity" because Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" "was blasting on the stereo."

The guitarist said that she then realized that she heard the song live earlier that year when Led Zeppelin was opening at the Seattle World's Fair in 1977.

Nancy called Page, now 81, "suggestive" with his shirt wide open exposing his bare chest and low-rider jeans. "He was moving in a way that was so suggestive," she continued, saying that she and her sister Ann Wilson were "square little hippie chicks" from the suburbs that were "unenlightened."

"Then, he sang about like 'squeeze my lemon' and we’re like, ‘Oh, we must leave, we must leave the premises’ because we were just shocked," Nancy continued, mentioning the 1969 song "The Lemon Song." "So, we actually walked out on Led Zeppelin at the Green Lake Aqua Theater."

Nancy noted that she and Ann, 74, had gone to see the band The 5th Dimension and Led Zeppelin was the opener for their show at the World's Fair, but "we were scandalized, and we walked away."

"And then later in my high school friend's make-out area basement," Nancy continued, she realized that the band that was playing was the one she saw at the Green Lake Aqua Theater.

When asked if they went back to hear The 5th Dimension perform after Page's shocking display, she said they did return to hear them after grabbing some corn dogs.
