On December 5, the Grey’s Anatomy actress was spotted leaving lunch with a friend in Beverly Hills wearing an effortless take on the fall-to-winter style. During the outing, Pompeo sported a denim midi skirt — complete with a front slit — styled with a white knit sweater, black knee-high boots, tinted sunglasses, and a black tote bag. 

This isn’t the first time long denim skirts have made their way into the celebrity fashion world this year. In fact, Sarah Jessica Parker and Gisele Bündchen have both worn the cute and comfy denim alternative, too, and I was equally obsessed with their outfits as I am with Pompeo’s.
