Jane Fonda Has a Breast Cancer Scare

Jane Fonda has revealed that she recently had a breast cancer scare, but after a successful procedure is free of the disease.

The actress and fitness guru, 72, is “completely fine,” her rep tells PEOPLE.

A small tumor was discovered during a routine checkup a few weeks ago. The cancer was found to be non-invasive, and Fonda had a procedure earlier this week to remove the tumor.

“She’s 100 percent cancer-free, says her rep. “She’s completely fine and it’s business as usual for her.

The fitness dynamo is currently promoting her new Primetime Fitness DVDs, which will hit stores on Nov. 30. She will be re-launching her Fonda Workout brand with a series of DVDs that will also feature fitness experts such as Tara Stiles, Jeanette Jenkins, Karena Dawn and Katrina Hodgson, on December 26.
